Blackjack is a game that brings to mind an image of a roller coaster. It is a game that begins slowly, but gradually gains speed. As you build up your bankroll, you feel as though you are on your way to the top of the coaster and then when you don’t expect it, the bottom drops out.
Blackjack is so very similar to a rollercoaster the similarities are alarming. As with the popular fairground experience, your black jack game will peak and things will appear to be going great for a time before it bottoms out yet again. You must be a blackjack player that will be able to readjust to the ups … downs of the game because the game of black jack is awash with them.
If you like the little coaster, a coaster that won’t go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way that you can enjoy the mad ride is with a bigger bet, then hop on board for the coaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high-roller will love the view from the monster crazy ride because they are not considering the drop as they rush head first to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few players adhere to it. In black jack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it is going up, that is awesome, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster begins to flip and turn, you had better get out in a hurry.
If you do not, you will not necessarily remember how much you enjoyed life while your profit was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a crazy fun ride … your head in the air. As you are thinking on "what ifs", you won’t clearly recount how "high up" you went but you will clearly recall that disappointing drop as clear as day.
