I have gambled on millions of rounds of chemin de fer. I started working my way into the gambling dens when I was sixteen. I have played online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still lost all kinds of cash at chemin de fer. The gambling dens have made it very hard to defeat the game.
I still enjoy the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over the years I have bet on a type of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get rich with this tactic or defeat the casino, still you will experience a lot of fun. This method is founded on the idea that 21 seems to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I lose I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the bet back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets extremely enjoyable on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in series your wagers go up very fast. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Luxor a number of years back with $750 after 30 minutes using this tactic! And a few months ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!
You have to understand that you can give away a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be astonished at the streaks you notice playing this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a five dollar table.

Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the first 5 dollar wager
Wager 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of $10
Wager ten dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the initial $10 wager
Bet $10
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $20
Wager twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the first $20 wager
Wager 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Wager $40
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 40 dollar wager
Wager 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $80
Bet $80
Take $80 paid to you, leave the initial eighty dollar bet
Bet $80
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $160
Wager 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the first $160 bet
If you departed at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is hard to go on a streak this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can’t alter and lower your bet or the final result will not be the same.
