I have bet on countless of rounds of chemin de fer. I began sneaking into the gambling dens when I was sixteen. I have gambled on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. With all that said I have still spent a lot of money at chemin de fer. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the house.
I still enjoy the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get flush with this method or defeat the casino, still you will have a lot of fun. This method is built on the fact that 21 seems to be a match of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy 21. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I lose again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Whenever I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the action back down to the original bet.
I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets very enjoyable at times. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Wynn a couple of years ago with $750 after 45 minutes using this method! And a couple of months ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can lose a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the streaks you witness wagering this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar game.

Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 5 dollar wager
Wager 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 10 dollar bet
Wager 10 dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Bet twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $20 bet
Bet $20
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Bet 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original forty dollar wager
Bet $40
Leave $40 paid to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Wager 80 dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the original $80 wager
Bet $80
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial one hundred and 60 dollar wager
If you left at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s hard to go on a streak this long, but it does happen. And when it does you must NOT alter and lower your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
