I have gambled on millions of rounds of twenty-one. I began working my way into the casinos when I was still underage. I have played online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still lost a lot of cash at twenty-one. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the house.
I still like the game and play on a regular basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get rich with this method or defeat the casino, nonetheless you will have an abundance of fun. This method is built on the fact that chemin de fer seems to be a match of streaks. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I wager with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I don’t win I wager the table minimum on the next hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the wager back down to the original amount.
I am very strict and do not back out. It gets extremely thrilling sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the MGM a couple of years back with $750 after 60 minutes using this tactic! And a couple of weeks ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can lose a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be surprised at the runs you notice wagering this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.
Wager 5 dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the initial $5 wager
Bet five dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total bet of $10
Bet 10 dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the initial $10 bet
Bet 10 dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Bet $20
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the initial twenty dollar wager
Bet twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $40
Bet forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 40 dollar bet
Wager 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Wager eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial eighty dollar wager
Bet $80
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $160
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the initial 1 hundred and sixty dollar bet
If you left at this moment you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!
It is hard to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and drop your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
