I have played millions of hands of twenty-one. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have wagered on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost a lot of funds at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it nearly impossible to defeat the game.
I still like the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get loaded with this method or defeat the house, still you will experience a lot of fun. This method is based on the idea that chemin de fer seems to be a game of runs. When you are hot your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I wager with basic strategy blackjack. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the action back down to the original amount.
I am very strict and never back out. It gets extremely fun sometimes. If you win a few hands in series your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had great runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a number of years ago with $750 after 45 mins using this tactic! And a couple of months ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can say good-bye to a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the streaks you witness wagering this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar game.
Wager 5 dollar
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the initial five dollar wager
Bet five dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Bet 10 dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the original $10 wager
Bet ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Bet twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the initial twenty dollar wager
Bet 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of $40
Wager 40 dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the original 40 dollar wager
Wager forty dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Bet $80
Take $80 paid to you, leave the initial $80 bet
Wager 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet $160
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 160 dollar wager
If you left at this moment you would be up $315 !!
It’s difficult to go on a streak this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and drop your bet or the final result will not be the same.
